The coastal city with the most seaside beaches?
Which coastal cities have the most shoreline parks?
Which is the safest?
The Hill has asked these questions and more with the help of a panel of experts.
Below are their answers.
In the first edition of the 2018 coastal landscape survey, The Hill’s editors and reporters surveyed more than 1,000 coastal cities across the U.S. and Canada.
The editors said the survey revealed “some startling differences in coastal environments” and the answers they found were “a little surprising.”
What’s on your mind?
Are you planning on moving to or visiting one of the coastal cities?
Have you found a beach you really like?
We’d love to hear your story.
The Hill also interviewed experts about their favorite coastal cities, from the most crowded to the most accessible.
