A new water-themed water-craft simulator for iOS and Android aims to get kids up to speed on the basics of navigating water, navigating surfacing and exploring a seascaped landscape.
“Easy” is a new game in the Watercraft Simulator app category for Apple and Android, which offers a variety of different watercraft and terrain types, ranging from paddle-powered to fully automated.
The Watercraft Simulation app is available on the App Store, Google Play, and the Google Play Games store.
“Simple” and “Simple Adventure” have similar gameplay mechanics, with the latter offering an easier time navigating the ocean.
But while the former game is aimed at kids, it’s the latter that’s more geared towards adults, with water features such as the ability to surf and navigate water-covered surfaces and a variety a game modes for beginners and experienced surfers alike.
“Our goal is to provide a casual, fun, and accessible way for kids to learn about water,” said Greg Bowers, co-founder and CEO of the WaterCraft Simulator team, in a statement.
The app includes interactive tutorials and interactive video clips, and is also compatible with the Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV.
Bowers added that the app will be available on iOS and Google Play “soon,” but did not provide any details.
Bower said that the WaterCamps and WaterTrails series will be coming to the app, too.
“We’re bringing water camps and water trails to the Apple and Google platforms, as well as some of the best water sports in the world,” Bowers said.
“WaterCamps offers a completely unique experience for kids.
You can take your kids on a day trip, kayak with them, go fishing with them.
There are water sports, races, and activities, all designed for kids.”
The app is free, and features a variety that includes water sports and races, aswell as water-related trivia and games.
You’ll also be able to explore the “seascapes” of the Pacific Ocean, including “Sea of Sunken Lakes,” which features underwater sections of California.
Borrowing from the popular Disney series, the WaterTrail series includes various locations across the globe.
Bares said that his team will be continuing to develop the app with new features in the near future.
“If you’re a parent and have kids, this is the app for you,” he said.
